Nigerian designer Liza Goje, the creative force behind London fashion
boutique Vou Brown, was among the visitors at #africafwl
|
This year, the African Fashion Week
in London brings new collections from well-known African designers both at home
and in the diaspora to the catwalk at Kensington Olympia. The AFWL which has
gone from strength to strength since the first outing in 2011, also champions
new and emerging designers who are inspired by the rich culture of Africa.
Adaeze Yobo is one of the Celebrity
Ambasadors of the AFWL, and others are Ghanaian Menaye Donkor, Congo DCR Noella
Coursaris Musunka, Noisettes Vocalist Shinghai Shoniwa, TV Presenter, Lukwesa
Burak, and Regina Jane Jere, Ugandan Born Editor of the New Africa Woman
Magazine.
