An assault charge against pop’s most problematic of problem child, Justin Bieber, has been dropped.
The singer was charged in January in connection with an alleged assault on a limousine driver in Toronto.
The driver claimed that he had picked up a group of people, including Biebz, outside a night club and that the superstar scallywag had struck him on the back of the head repeatedly during a fight on the way back to the hotel.
But the prosecutor said that the case was withdrawn because there was no reasonable prospect of conviction for bad Biebs.
The Boyfriend singer’s not off completely the hook though – he still faces charges for assault and dangerous driving in an incident that happened in Stratford near Ontario in Canada almost a week ago.
This is the latest instalment in what appears to be Biebs’ desperate bid to become more famous for his misdemeanours than his music. Why else would you wee in a mop bucket and start fights? Attention seeker much?
In other Bieber behaviour news, in August he managed to avoid arrest for being allegedly involved in a drag race by agreeing to go on an anger management course, cough up $500 dollars and make a $50,000 donation to charity.
If that wasn't enough, the superstar is currently on probation in Los Angeles after pleading no contest in July to misdemeanor vandalism for egging a neighbours’ home.
We hope we could say that this is the last we’ll hear of Bieber’s legal scrapes but chances are slim.
Now Selena Gomez is back in his life, will the bad boy finally clear up his act?
