Oh No! Chris Brown Headed Back To Prison? His Freedom Is On ‘Shaky Ground’

Uh oh. Chris Brown is in extremely ‘hot water’! A criminal defense attorney tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that there’s a good chance the ‘New Flame’ singer will be thrown behind bars now that his probation has been revoked. Here’s why!
If Chris Brown wants to marry Karrueche Tran before he possibly goes back to prison, he might want to do it quick! Now that his probation has been revoked, his freedom is on “very shaky ground” for a number of reasons. We hate to say it, but Chris should be very worried!

“Chris Brown might be in hot water again, even if for nothing else than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even if Chris had absolutely nothing to do with the shooting in San Jose, if it is determined by the Court that he traveled outside of Los Angeles County without prior approval from his Probation Officer, that would be sufficient to find him in willful violation of his probation, and the Court very easily could remand him back into custody,” criminal defense attorney James E. Silverstein tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY.

As HollywoodLife previously reported, Chris was caught in the middle of two separate shootings (in less than six months) at nightclubs in San Jose and Los Angeles. While in court for a routine progress report in his 2009 Rihanna assault case on Jan. 15, the judge claimed Chris left Los Angeles County without notifying his probation office, according to TMZ. Subsequently, Chris’ probation was revoked. And now, he’s facing serious jail time.

“The Court could sentence him to serve prison time for violating his probation. What’s worse for Chris is that the Court, in determining whether or not to remand him into custody, will look at the totality of his conduct while on probation. So in addition to the San Jose fiasco, the Court will also probably consider the shooting at the 1OAK club, and his two arrests, including the Washington D.C. battery case, and the rock throwing incident while in rehab. The Court will also consider his alleged statements about knives and guns during a group rehab meeting. Brown’s freedom is on very shaky ground,” James also tells us.
This doesn’t sound good at all. A source tells us that Chris is absolutely “terrified,” and we don’t blame him.
Chris is scheduled for a formal hearing on March 20.
